To live your life by another persons standards is a waist of time. Life is too short to live wishing you were someone else. Young women in todays society are often under pressure to amount to certain ideals, to be perfect. However this is a toxic way to live. I lived by other people’s standards once, it made me unhappy. Now blissfully unafraid to let people know who I am, painting and drawing is my outlet.

I don’t know anyone better than myself. I am a free spirited yet shy and complex person, constantly yearning for something more in life. This painting is an insight into me; my real self.
