Artist statement
How often have you walked
down the street or sat in a restaurant or shop and noticed a piece of discarded
paper that has occupied the attentions of it's 'one time owner'? (even if
for a short time). It has many creases and folds, from when once-idle
hands have mindlessly recreated it into a new shape and object.
This collection of
drawings is a response to those found objects and receipts.
