Artist statement
“The fold is the
general topology of thought… ‘inside’ space is topologically in contact with
the ‘outside’ space… and brings the two into confrontation at the limit of the
living present.. ‘

In this work the living
present is the intersection between each of the corners pregnant with ideas and
imagination. As a collective there are many things that pull us together
(such as art, motherhood, life demands, gender, common interests) and yet it is
our uniqueness that helps make the collective so strong. In this three
dimensional installation we express both ourselves both individually (inside)
and collectively (outside).
